Olá! I’m André, a dedicated European Portuguese teacher from Porto, Portugal.
With years of experience, I’m here to help adult learners achieve their language goals. Whether you’re preparing for travel, work, or just want to experience the joy of speaking Portuguese fluently, my lessons are crafted to make learning enjoyable, effective, and relevant to your goals.
When I´m not planning or having lessons, I spend my free time listening to podcasts, reading, riding my bike.
I enjoy engaging conversation with my students about a variety of topics but there are my favorites: cultural aspects, travel, geography, food, music, cinema, science, nature and sustainability.

André is brilliant. An excellent and knowledgable teacher. His lessons are very focussed and he's particularly good at pin pointing things that need attention, explaining well aspects of the language, whilst always being encouraging!

The reason I said that the teacher was not present for the full lesson time is because the Italki platform had a lot of technical issues. The teacher succeeded to connect 5 min late and afterwards, we had to reconnect several times. I lost at least 10-15 min.
