As a community tutor I'd like to focus mostly on conversation practice. However we can also work on grammar and phonetics.My lessons & teaching style
I prefer a more relaxed and casual way of teaching. Personally, I wouldn't concentrate too much on grammar, since it can be quite stressful and confusing.My teaching material

Ich lerne schon seit einer Weile Russisch mit Boris und bin sehr dankbar,dass ich ihn als Tutor habe. Wir besprechen jedes Mal so interessante Themen,dass ich nicht merke,wann die Zeit vergangen ist. Er ist ein wunderbarer Mensch und sehr geduldiger Tutor,mit dem man sich sehr wohl fühlt beim Erlernen der Russischen Sprache!Danke!

It’s always nice to have a lesson with Boris. He doesn’t speak that much in English to me during the lesson and instead of giving me the translation of the word directly in English he tries with me in Russian first and I like that!

A very patient teacher who gives you time to think about what you want to say. Learned plenty of new vocabulary/phrases, so am happy. Boris is easy to talk with and it felt like a fairly normal conversation (albeit with us talking much slower than native speakers!)
