I have been working with language teaching since I moved to Sweden in 2017 and needed to learn the Swedish language. This has opened my mind not only to the necessity of acquiring language skills but also about how difficult it can be to catch all of a language’s nuances. Haroldo é muito legal! He is teaching me things that Duolingo really failed me on and I am learning a lot. He is able to fit a lot of learning into a half hour, but the time does feel short because of how engaging he makes it. I think by 2025 I should be good enough to have conversations with my wife in Portuguese. For which I will be very grateful and incredibly happy.
