I have had 20 sessions with Anna now. I have learned a lot, and learning Italian has turned into a hobby of mine. I believe this is due to Anna's great teaching style and personality. As an educator myself, I believe Anna uses great teaching methods. She teaches with practical material that I am interested in, and uses that to build lessons. She also lets me explore things and asks me questions to help me identify patterns, my own errors, etc. Anna is also very patient and regularly encourages me to try to say things in Italian when we are conversing. I highly recommend Anna as an instructor!

if you are a native english speaker looking to learn italian - you must take a lesson with Anna. you will be glad that you did. i look forward to our lessons every week. do it!

Anna was excellent. My first Italki experience and she was very encouraging and made it feel fun. I will absolutely continue with her!

I just wanted to post a rave review of Anna's teaching--she is truly outstanding. My Italian hovers, I'd say, on the cusp between B2/C1 and I've been taking lessons with Anna for about half a year. There's no doubt that I've made particular improvement during that time. Anna is especially excellent in the sense that her lessons are not banal. Instead, they're interesting, engaging, and she's done a brilliant job of tailoring material to my interests (for instance, I love to learn about Italian politics, which I realize is not everyone's cup of tea). She's also pushed me to write in Italian. Writing in a foreign language is often a bit of a neglected skill, I think, so this has yielded very positive results. I really can't recommend Anna strongly enough--she's fantastic teacher with a strong sense of how to teach Italian. You should book her!
