I am a teacher and writer, educated to master's level, with over ten years of TEFL experience. In the UK, I'm a certified secondary-school teacher of English literature and language (PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status). I was born and raised in the Cotswolds, UK; after leaving school, I travelled and taught English abroad before taking up my studies. My favourite overseas home was Florence, where I lived for a year and learned to speak Italian fluently. Literature is my passion and I studied it at university for both my undergraduate and master's degrees. I love to write – whether poetry or prose. I have had short stories published with literary magazines and my novel was published in 2019.Me as a Teacher
I am a passionate and dedicated teacher, who draws a great deal of pleasure from helping my students improve; it is rewarding and fulfilling to help pupils achieve their ambition. I teach English language and literature. I understand the necessity of identifying the barriers to understanding and deconstructing elements of language to help students learn. With over ten years of experience, I'm a confident teacher who brings significant enthusiasm as well as eclectic interests to my lessons. Throughout school and university, I consistently achieved top grades and I provide support to help students attain to the best of their ability in my lessons.My lessons & teaching style
I have a diverse and fluid teaching style so that I quickly adapt to suit the needs of my students. In our first lesson, we will discuss your preferences regarding an informal or formal set up and whether you prefer lessons with a rigid structure or a more general chat. Each and every student learns differently; I endeavour to make learning the language as fun, challenging, and exciting as possible.

Hannah is a careful, passionate and engaging teacher for my 12 years old daughter. She's professional and funny at the same time. She always finds new and interesting topics to discuss with her. My daughter is so happy to spend an hour of lesson with Hannah every week and she feels very at ease.
