진아 Jina

Jina is an amazing teacher. She is able to break down concepts in a way that makes it easy for beginners to understand, and she is patient with me even when I mess up the same concepts week after week. I still have a long way to go, but even after a few lessons, I feel more confident in my speaking and listening comprehension abilities because she creates such a comfortable and open environment. If you are still looking for a teacher, I highly recommend booking Jina.

I only have positive things to say about Jina! Such an amazing, intelligent, kind and understanding person - all of that and more make her a fantastic teacher. She listens well, answers any questions you might have and explains things in a way which makes learning a language a lot easier to understand. I can't recommend her highly enough. I used to take lessons with Jina back in early 2020 and I just started back up again today! Jina is just as great as I remember. We spent this first lesson having a general conversation to see how much I remembered and it went much better than I expected! Jina was very encouraging and enthusiastic when I was able to recall something. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking to pick back up a language that you may have set aside for a while. If you’re hesitant to try, I was too, but the experience was great and Jina made the transition back in super smooth.

진아 쌤 is a fantastic teacher and person. I highly recommend you take a lesson with her. She is so patient and helpful, no matter your level. I have been working with her every week for a year and a half. Her teaching style is incredibly dynamic and she explains and contextualises the language in such an accessible and fun way. Today was my first lesson with 진아, so I was a little nervous but she was immediately super friendly and encouraging right from the start of the lesson, which made it super easy to talk to her. She was easily able to understand what I was trying to say and rephrase it for me in a way that was more natural, but she was very patient and gave me plenty of time and space to try to figure it out for myself first. My main goal for my Korean learning at the moment is to practise speaking, and her lesson really felt JUST like a natural conversation with a little bit of guidance where it was needed, which was the perfect environment for me to practise in. I'm looking forward to studying more with 진아!
