Yuuki@Anime Sensei

Yuuki is a fantastic teacher! He's interested in a wide range of subjects, so it's easy to have a casual conversation while learning! In Yuuki's class, you're provided a Google document with the vocabulary you learned and also a transcript of the discussion you had that day! It's a great resource for studying practical Japanese as you make fun and interesting conversation that's relevant to your life! The vibe is casual but structured-- I appreciate that we speak casually about many topics, but Yuuki makes sure the lesson isn't aimless, so even casual and fun conversations are productive! Overall, I think Yuuki is a perfect choice for anyone to further their Japanese learning in a way that feels natural!

Yuuki Sensei is awesome! The lesson was conversation guided which is exactly what I need to make my Japanese far more practical. There is a perfect blend between known vocabulary and knew vocabulary. Yuuki Sensei asked my interests and hobbies so that we can use them as a means to use practical Japanese and have real-life conversations. I felt very comfortable using what little Japanese I knew right from the start and Yuuki Sensei never made me feel self-conscious about my skill level and guided me in the correct directions when I needed it. I immediately booked more lessons! I look forward to working with Yuuki Sensei!

We talked about a lot of different subjects. Most interestingly, the discussion on how people are raised differently in America vs Japan was a fun topic.

The trial lesson was fun and interesting. We worked on some casual conversation while he assessed my skill level. We talked about my goals and his teaching style along with things like anime and other hobbies. Yuuki sensei seemed to adapt quickly to my level and pace. I want to focus on basic conversation and I think he can help me a lot with my goal.

Yuuki sensei made me super comfortable and got to know my goals and set out a plan that fit me. And really pushed me in the first lesson already to start learning and getting comfortable speaking Japanese .

This was my first lesson with Yuuki-sensei. I felt very comfortable with him and he helped break down the information very well. I felt that he was very focused and gave good advice. The conversation was very relevant to common interests such as anime, games, and sightseeing. I hope to have another lesson soon!
