My name is Tana Monk. I am half-American, half Filipino. I was living in London, Ontario, Canada, but I am now in the Philippines.
- I am a native English speaker who has lived in Canada, the USA, New Zealand, and the Philippines.
- I have my 160 hours TEFL and 40 hours TEYL certification.
- I have over 6 years of experience teaching English to Polish and Chinese students of all ages and levels. Still, I specialize in teaching kids and teens reading, grammar, conversation, and writing.
- I am a National Team baseball player. I play and coach softball too.
- I love watching movies, playing with my pet dogs, eating new food, and traveling!Me as a Teacher

Once you schedule your trial lesson, I will assess your oral speaking, and we can talk about the areas you need to work on. Even if you decide not to take more lessons with me, this trial will give you an excellent idea of where you need to improve!
My courses focus on Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. I can help you improve these skills through visual materials, including short readings, dialogues, listening tasks, comprehension questions, and discussion time. Mock tests and homework may be given as well.My teaching material
