About Me

I have taught for language schools and given private lessons, on and off, since 2008. I have a CELTA certificate to teach English and a B.A. degree in Communications. I have taught students of all levels, including beginners, and have experience teaching General English, preparing students for exams (TOEFL and FCE), and working one-on-one with students to help them improve specific skills and areas. As a teacher I am patient, encouraging, and create a positive learning environment.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are tailor-made for each individual student. My lessons are designed around my students' needs, goals, interests and learning styles. I make you feel at ease, especially while speaking and we go at the right pace for you. I use materials from English language textbooks. I also adapt and use authentic English language materials, such as magazine articles and youtube videos. I teach General English, specific skills/areas, conversation and test prep courses to students of all levels.My teaching material

Great lesson, fantastic teacher!
Helen is a very good, precise, kind, punctual and patient teacher.
She have tried to understand my problems are and what goals I want to achieve and we have planned together a personalized lesson plan for myself. I really enjoyed our meeting and I have already planned other lessons with her. I'm sure that with her help I will improve a lot. :) Thanks Helen!!!
