My name is Fangfang. I grew up in Taiwan, and traveled to more than 10 countries around the world! I love meeting new friends and chatting about different cultures, lifestyles, and travel experiences. Sharing diverse ideas and perspectives is something I'm passionate about, and I really enjoy hearing people's stories and opinions from all over the world. I have more than 10 years of Chinese teaching experience. Whether you're just starting to learn Chinese or have been studying for years, you're always welcome to join my lessons. Connecting with my students is my top priority because true learning happens through connection. My role is to be both a coach and an instructor, supporting you on your journey into the new language. I want you to feel comfortable and open to learning something new in my class. My lessons have a conversational teaching style because I want you to confidently use what you've learned in real life. We'll focus on speaking, but we'll also work on grammar and new vocabulary in the context of real-life situations. In our first class, we'll assess your level, motivations, and goals so that I can tailor each lesson to you. We will then place ourselves in real-life scenarios and practice expressions and grammar through conversation.My teaching material

I've taken over 80 lessons so far with Yiela. I started with zero knowledge except for some tone and loan word knowledge from Vietnamese . And after half a year I'm not only starting to pick up pronounciation and basic grammar but am able to get a good grasp on reading characters. She's always punctual and supportive and has a good sense of went to progress through each lesson or hang back and improve on the current subject matter or revisit something that may have slipped your mind. Will always explain answers to questions you may want to ask. Very satisfied and happy to have her as a great teacher.

Fangfang always prepares a very thorough and individualized lesson. She sends materials ahead of time for study. I'm amazed how thoughtful she is in listening to my specific language goals and helping me advance them. Lessons are always focussed and provide plenty of time for questions and conversation practice / role-playing. I always feel comfortable and supported during our lessons. Fangfang is a master language instructor, I would recommend her to anyone!
