Hello!
I’m Julia, an Italian certified tutor living in Edinburgh, Scotland.

As a tutor I see myself as enthusiastic, patient and dedicated. I'm 100% committed to the progress of my students and I always pay attention to their learning goals and expectations. Throughout the years I've developed my personal learning and teaching methodology based on the techniques I've acquired as a tutor and the experience I've gained as a long-term language learner.
Our lessons together will be tailored to your own needs and requirements. For this purpose, I’ll get in touch beforehand so we can briefly discuss what your needs are and what you expect to achieve with our lessons together.My lessons & teaching style
In my classes I try to focus on creating a sound grammatical foundation for my students, as a solid grammar knowledge is essential regardless of whether your focus is reading, writing or speaking. We will be building this foundation lesson after lesson, adapting to your learning pace and style. I also place strong emphasis on vocabulary acquisition and sentence formation as a way of creating a set of essential phrases that will help you express yourself in a wide range of situations.

Fantastic teacher. I am coming back to Italian after a two year break and have forgotten so much but Julia pitched the conversation at the perfect level and already I found vocab coming back to me. Really looking forward to the next one
