My name is Brian Hetherington and I have been teaching ESL for almost thirty years. I love to garden, bake, read and tell stories. I live in Kingston, a small Canadian city halfway between Ottawa and Toronto.Me as a Teacher
I have taught all levels of student from absolute beginner to university writing. I can help in with pronunciation, grammar, writing, academic and business English, and test preparation (TOEFL, SAT).

I really appreciate the lesson with Brian.
He corrected a few mistakes that I made, and I learned some useful expressions as well.
He also shared a little bit about his experience in the classroom throughout the years, which was very interesting to me.

Mr. brain is the best oral teacher I have met,in his classes, there’s a organized schedule and a detailed explanation,the most important reason I choose his lesson is his patience ,he never feel annoyed with my repeated mistakes,but correct me in a gentle way again and again,thanks to his help I do make a great progress in my spoken English.
