Hola! Me llamo Martha. Trabajo como maestra de español como idioma extranjero.
Me encanta enseñar, esa es mi pasión! En mis ratos libres me gusta nadar y hacer ejercicio. En lo intelectual, me gusta leer y aprender nuevos idiomas. Mi meta es mejorar mi inglés y poder aprender Italiano en el futuro.
During my classes we will talk as much Spanish as possible. I like my students to have full immersion into the language. However, if you need me to speak English I will be happy to do so. :)Me as a Teacher
Me gusta que mis estudiantes aprendan un acento Mexicano neutro, ya que es un acento importante en América Latina.
Soy una maestra agradable, paciente y que te ayudará a corregir tus errores al momento de hablar. Podemos tener conversaciones acerca de la cultura de México, su comida, sus modismos y coloquealismos, etc; así como diferentes expresiones que nosotros como latinos usamos en la vida diaria.

Mis clases están enfocadas principalmente en practicar tu Español en forma de conversación. However, I have also packages that go from level A1 to C2 and as an elementary school teacher I also have interesting topics about different subjects we can talk about. I like to plan my classes according to my student's needs, so every class is customized according to your goals.

I enjoyed another excellent lesson with Martha. This time we spent the first half of the lesson in conversation practice. I find this easier with Martha than with some others because she has such a beautiful clear voice. Then we did some useful work on correct choices of prepositions - one of my weak areas. All very helpful.

Great lesson with Martha today. We eased into the lesson by talking about our plans for the weekend before we began the lesson. Again the lesson was 100% in Spanish which I greatly appreciated and she taught me some grammatical concepts about expressing actions done by myself or others in the past or that continue on into the future. It is difficult but immensely helpful to help smooth my Spanish as well as improve my comprehension of how others express themselves. Highly recommend her due to her preparation, professionalism, and most importantly her patience and kindness while teaching. Gracias Martha!
