Hi, I’m Andika! I speak Indonesian and Javanese as my mother tongues, and I’m fluent in English at the C1 level. Having successfully mastered a foreign language myself, I know the best strategies for learning. You’ll benefit from my experience and tips to make your language journey smoother and faster.
Me as a Teacher
I have been teaching Indonesian for over eleven years. Currently, I live in Central Java, Indonesia, and work as an online Bahasa Indonesia teacher. Born and raised in Indonesia, I hold a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in Indonesian language and literature, as well as a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from the University of Melbourne, Australia. I speak with a neutral Indonesian accent.My lessons & teaching style
I have over 11 years of teaching experience, and currently, I am focusing on online Indonesian teaching. I truly enjoy teaching, and since 2014, I have specialized in teaching Indonesian to foreign speakers. I also hold a Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) teaching certificate, issued by the Ministry of Education.
In each lesson, I will help you build your speaking confidence and expand your vocabulary, ranging from technical terms to fun Indonesian slang. My simple and easy-to-understand grammar explanations will help you master Indonesian grammar quickly.
