My name is Silvia, I'm from Colombia and my native language is Spanish. I love languages and I would love to learn many more. I would be happy to help you in your process of learning this beautiful language since I have experience teaching Spanish virtually in a fun and engaging environment. As a tip, I tell you that making mistakes is very normal. When you are learning a language this is the most common thing. With me you can feel totally confident to make as many mistakes as you want and then learn from them.My lessons & teaching style
In our conversations I will explain the new words in context so you can remember it easily. My method is more casual, spontaneous, repeating words or phrases as many times as necessary. I also try to make the student use all their senses to relate words or phrases. I can also give you other types of resources to continue your learning.My teaching material

Me gusta el estilo de enseñanza de Silvia porque, en cada clase, prepara la siguiente según lo que quiero aprender. Es diferente de otros profesores que solo te hacen leer un texto, te preguntan qué palabras no entiendes y luego continúan leyendo. En cambio, ella vuelve a leer el texto, explicándolo de una manera que ayuda a captar el significado. También Silvia asegura de que entienda la idea principal. Cuando nota que no comprendo bien el texto, me ayuda en lugar de dejarme toda la clase pensando en una respuesta. Me gusta mucho este enfoque de enseñanza.

Silvia is a great teacher! She understands how to teach and does very well at it. She explains things in great detail and is a super good communicator. Our lesson was amazing and she taught me so much in our conversation. 10/10. Will be continuing to practice with her and I recommend her for anyone trying to learn Spanish. She’s a great teacher!
