I am a business development professional and entrepreneur that has traveled a lot around the world and learned many foreign languages myself. Italki is my way of making a difference and helping fellow nomads and language learners to get a quick grasp of colloquial language. For the last 3 years, I have been living in Copenhagen, Denmark and working in small biotech startups. I am a fan of science, sewing, arts, innovation and technology!Me as a Teacher
I have been teaching on the side of a full-time job for over 5 years now. I create fun (hopefully), relaxing atmosphere and ask a lot of questions to make you speak from the very beginning! I will not rush things on you, but keep challenging you with new topics, words and phrases so you do not stagger in the classes.
I will be equally happy to both take initiative of finding new topics to discuss, as well as accept your wishes for the lessons.My lessons & teaching style
- Talking, talking, talking! Lot's of talking from the very beginning of your journey. No boring exercises.
- Simulating real life situations and role-playing (e.g. Imagine you are in a supermarket, bank, taking to your partner, inviting friends out etc)
- Using newest tech to support our lessons. I will show you how to use ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity to practice every day when you do not have access to lessons with me.
- Reading news, listening to music, watching short clips and other media to spice up classes. My favorite is watching memes and humor in the foreign language.My teaching material

She prepared a very nice lesson with lots of good and helpful words. It’s great how she combines vocabulary acquisition with grammar knowledge and on top makes it a lot of fun to study the language. Thanks to her I could watch my first episode of a Russian series totally in Russian !

I love the Russian lessons with her. She is always super prepared, revises the vocabulary we did and step by step we do more in the Russian language. I started with nearly 0 knowledge and now we manage to read little chapters of books. I can’t wait until my college semester is over and I have more time to do more than one session per week.
