Lucía Alejandra

My teacher, Lucia, is very knowledgeable about medical terms in Spanish. Every week we go over a different scenario, reenacting a real conversation that I had the previous week in my clinic. It is so helpful to practice and be able to respond to everyday situations where I work. I work in a community clinic where probably over 90% of the patients speak Spanish.

Lucía has been such a great teacher for a really long time now. She’s always very patient and kind and has a really great ability to understand what I’m trying to say when I’m grasping for the right words. Her English vocabulary and knowledge of slang is surprisingly good, so it really helps when I’m trying to get a point across and only know how to describe it in idioms or slang. And she is always patient when what I’m trying ti say isn’t making sense. I’m very glad ti have her as a teacher and hope I have the opportunity to continue working with her for a long time! Most importantly, my Spanish is always improving when I work with her.

I am an English (USA) italki teacher and I refer my students to Lucia for Spanish and EVERY single student of mine who has studied with Lucia, has AMAZING things to say about her! She is motivational, intelligent, funny and sincere. Hers is the only method that I found, which works perfectly for continual, and steady progress. If you've hit a roadblock with your Spanish, Lucia is the lady to talk to. Whatever your frustration is with Spanish, Lucia has all of the RIGHT answers. She knows every vocabulary word for every Latin-American country and Spain as well! Someday, I want to be a Spanish teacher just like Lucia :)
