Hi! I'm Yunzheng, from Fujian, in the southeast of China. I grew up in both China and the US. After getting my bachelor's from the College of William & Mary, my curiosity to see the world brought me to Mexico City, where I started my teaching career as an English teacher at a K-12 bilingual school. I fell in love with language teaching, and recently got my master's in Language Teaching from University College London. I have taught English and Chinese to students of different ages in Shanghai, London and Oxford. I'm an avid language learner and traveler! I also speak Spanish and work as a Mandarin-Spanish translator for TV series. I love traveling and have been to more than 60 countries.

Yunzheng is a great teacher and there are a few points I find extraordinary. First, unlike other teachers, she is very well prepared for conversation practice lessons offering a wide variety of interesting conversation topics making these lessons very engaging. Second, Yunzheng is a greatly experienced teacher who is very excited about language learning. Finally, Yunzheng speaks native level English and can immediately give perfect Chinese translations even for very advanced terms/phrases.
