About Me

I like to have fun in class. I don’t think learning English or Portuguese should be boring. I like for my students to feel comfortable, like they are talking to a friend. I understand many challenges that come with learning a new language and I support my students on their journey. I teach mainly through conversation, but I have many resources to use as needed.My lessons & teaching style
I like to have fun in class. We will smile and talk a lot. We will laugh a lot. My classes are very conversational because I believe the best way to learn is to start speaking from the very beginning. I like to work with students from all levels and my classes are specially made with attention to the needs of the student.Work Experience

ESL InstructorI have the amazing opportunity to teach English as a Second Language in the evenings at BHU. I look forward to every class because every class is an opportunity for me to be with students who I love so much.

Translator/InterpreterI get to translate documents and interpret simultaneously from Portuguese to English and I think both are a fun and exciting challenge.

Secretária do EmbaixadorIt is an honor to serve the beautiful people and country of Brazil here in the United States. I get to work for the country of my heart, while still living in the country of my birth. :)
