Hi everyone! My name is Elena, I live in Russia, in the Urals. During my life, I tried several professions, but gradually and consciously came to the decision that I want to teach Russian as a foreign language. My hobbies include gardening, cycling and, of course, learning English. Over the past 3 years, I have been able to successfully help people from various contries improve their knowledge of the Russian language.
Me as a Teacher
I consider myself an open and patient teacher with a good sense of humor. I am very demanding of myself as a teacher, I always carefully select the material for the upcoming lesson and take seriously the development of homework for the student, as well as feedback. I tend to see the lesson through the eyes of the student and use the questions asked as the main tool.
My lessons & teaching style
I provide structured lessons both for those who are just starting to learn Russian, and for students with a higher level. I prefer to use a communicative approach to teaching, focusing on the development of speaking and listening skills.
During conversational Russian classes, I often use methods and techniques that encourage the student to easily formulate thoughts in the target language. I always try to make lessons fun and as enjoyable as possible for both my students and myself. I consider it very important to create a comfortable atmosphere in my classes where the student’s emotional involvement in what is happening is formed. I have all the necessary materials and my own lesson designs.

This class was very fulfilling, and I started to learn a lot of common words in life. The teacher also shared a lot about Russian food culture, and the learning process was really enjoyable. Of course, she still chatted with me as usual, just to improve my speaking skills. She is really nice.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Teacher Елена. Her diligence is outstanding. Before each class, she prepares meticulously, providing materials that are highly relevant to my learning needs, which greatly facilitates my progress.
Елена's passion for teaching is what truly makes her shine. She approaches every lesson with enthusiasm, making even the most challenging aspects of the Russian language seem accessible. Her teaching techniques are incredibly effective. Through a combination of dynamic conversations, creative use of visual aids, and targeted exercises, she not only imparts knowledge but also boosts my confidence. Thanks to her, I've seen a remarkable improvement in my Russian skills. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone eager to learn Russian.

I have been learning Russian with the teacher for almost eleven months. As time goes by, I have gradually mastered the basics of listening, speaking, reading and writing. The most important thing is that every time I encounter difficulties, I become more passionate about figuring it out. It feels great. In addition to grammar and vocabulary, I also learned about authentic Russian culture and life in class, which was a rich harvest.
