Hi everyone! My name is Elena, I live in Russia, in the Urals. During my life, I tried several professions, but gradually and consciously came to the decision that I want to teach Russian as a foreign language. My hobbies include gardening, cycling and, of course, learning English. Over the past 2.5 years, I have been able to successfully help people from various contries improve their knowledge of the Russian language.Me as a Teacher
I consider myself an open and patient teacher with a good sense of humor. I am very demanding of myself as a teacher, I always carefully select the material for the upcoming lesson and take seriously the development of homework for the student, as well as feedback. I tend to see the lesson through the eyes of the student and use the questions asked as the main tool.My lessons & teaching style
I provide structured lessons both for those who are just starting to learn Russian, and for students with a higher level. I prefer to use a communicative approach to teaching, focusing on the development of speaking and listening skills.
During conversational Russian classes, I often use methods and techniques that encourage the student to easily formulate thoughts in the target language. I always try to make lessons fun and as enjoyable as possible for both my students and myself. I consider it very important to create a comfortable atmosphere in my classes where the student’s emotional involvement in what is happening is formed.
