Hola, soy Rocío. Hace tres años comencé a enseñar español como lengua extranjera, ¡y ha sido una experiencia maravillosa! La enseñanza siempre ha sido una parte importante de mi vida, ya que durante 15 años fui maestra de español para estudiantes nativos y también maestra de Escuela Dominical.
Estoy casada, tengo dos hijos adolescentes y dos adorables gatitos. Me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia, jugar baloncesto, ver series y películas, y leer sobre una amplia variedad de temas, como historia, literatura, ciencia, política y filosofía.

Rocio is a fantastic teacher-- She's calm, creative, patient and a good conversationalist. I started taking lessons with Rocio four months ago before visiting Mexico. Currently I'm enrolled in a Spanish language school in Mexico and meet with Rocio three times a week to practice my pronunciation and improve my speaking and comprehension skills. I appreciate Rocio calmness and how she is very patient when I mispronounce words, or don't know a word, or if I use the wrong verb conjugation. She is also always sharing online resources with me to help improve my skills and is always willing to help me with my homework if I ask for help. I highly recommend Rocio.

Very informative lesson. If you are looking to improve your pronunciation, Rocío is very knowledgeable in phonetics. She assessed my weaknesses and gave me strategies to improve my pronunciation (along with corresponding Powerpoints to practice). Highly recommended!
