About Me

Hi :) I'm Arty and I'm from Germany. I'm very passionate about languages and I'm here to teach you my mother language German. I am originally from Turkey but I am born and raised in Germany. I have a lot of friends from everywhere around the world and I love other cultures and traditions so that I am dealing with languages every day. The result is that I speak 8 languages. Therefore I know about the struggles of learning a language and found out how to learn languages efficiently. I will make these lessons for you as comfortable and fun as possible.

Me as a Teacher

The reason why I started to teach on italki were my friends who told me that I was a huge help for them while we we're doing a language exchange. So I wanna help other people to improve their German. I'm a really patient and passionate teacher. My biggest aim will be that you speak German as natural as possible. I pay a lot of attention to mistakes and pronunciation. I was told that I speak German very slowly compared to other German natives and explain things in a easy way.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons won't be very grammar heavy. I offer conversational courses and oral exam training. So we just talk and I correct you every time you make a mistake and explain you the grammatical background or teach you new words and expressions that you need while we are talking. The reality is that you will need native speakers you can talk to in order to learn a language.

Ich habe mit Arty meine erste Unterrichtsstunde sehr genossen. Ich war nervös, weil ich nicht lange Deutsch gesprochen habe aber die Lektion war angenehm. Arty spricht deutlich mit klarer Artikulation. Er hat mir Pause gemacht, damit ich die Sätze fehlerfrei sagen konnte. Er bemerkt die Fehler und bringt auch ein bisschen Grammatik bei. Arty ist ziemlich verständnisvoll und lustig. Die Stunden mit ihm fühlen sich an, als würde ich mit einem engen Freund per Videoanruf sprechen. Wenn ich im Unterricht einen falschen Satz bilde, schreibt er die richtige Version in den Chat und erklärt, warum das so ist. Er ist ein wirklich gute Lehrer
