Hello everyone! My name is Nick and I’m originally from Manchester, England.
I have lived in Madrid, Spain, an excellent city for the past two years. I am an outgoing guy, my interests are travelling, badminton, running, watching football and learning languages. Travelling is my true passion, I have been to 45 different countries and counting.
I am a qualified TEFL/TESOL teacher with over 7 years of teaching experience. I started teaching in High Schools, where I did 2 years, then I moved online 5 years ago and have been teaching online ever since.Me as a Teacher
Classes with me will include lots of talking, I base my classes around conversational English, helping students improve different areas of English by speaking. The classes are in a friendly environment, so if you make a mistake you don’t need to feel foolish. Also I am quite energetic, so we will have lots to talk about.
All classes will be made according to your wants and needs, each class different to the next. We will use, PDF’s, articles, podcasts, videos in lessons to make them interesting. Drop me a message, let me know your interests.My lessons & teaching style
As stated above, I always try to create a friendly environment whilst teaching, you need to be comfortable in class. Generally, I will send information before the class so you can prepare for class, you will know the topic in advance and do some homework if you want me to set it, homework will not be set automatically please state if you would like some homework, however extra work outside the class is always advised.
When speaking I will correction your grammar, pronunciation by typing the mistake, then when you finish the answer or finish speaking, we can return to the error and correct it.My teaching material
