Hi Everyone!
I am a 33 year old English teacher from the Northern Ireland who specialises in IELTS, and I love helping students pass their exams!
I'm also a language learner, and I love to help students speak more naturally and reduce their mistakes! (I'll be very active in doing this :) )
Aside from exam preparation, talk to me about anything! I love sports, art, business, philosophy, videography, science, politics, media, travel, culture, nutrition.. and just about everything else!Me as a Teacher
As a teacher I would say that I am social, objective and caring. I love to make the learning process fun and enjoyable!
Social: I try to shape it like a social meeting where the student has opportunities to speak, question, observe, discover, grow and express. As a language-learner myself, I know that it is a journey to become fluent and to attain a high level and I most certainly choose to make it a pleasant ride!
Objective: I always ask my students what they want to learn or focus on so that we are fulfilling goals and achieving targets. Why waste time? Let's have fun but let's also get better!
Caring: I really care about my students and really want that they achieve their goals.My lessons & teaching style
-My lessons are customized and focus on exactly what the student wants to focus on.
-My lessons are goal-orientated. We set goals in the class of what we want to achieve and we go and take the necessary steps towards realizing those goals.
-My lessons are feedback-heavy. I give lots of feedback for each student. Feedback makes us better.
I teach both IELTS Academic and IELTS General. This includes:
-Writing Task 1(General& Academic)
-Writing Task 2
-Speaking Part (1-3)
-Listening
-Reading (Academic & General)
A typical lesson would involve:
1) Asking the student what they want to focus on.

IELTS TeacherSince 2017, I have been working with students online to help them achieve their desired band scores. As each student is different, we worked together to solve their main issues which were stopping them from getting the score they needed for studying abroad or immigrating.

English TeacherFor GLS, I provided business and communication English classes to companies. This involved creating personalized lessons and feedback for each student.

Today was my 80th class with Craig. As always time flew by. Craig creates such interesting and entertaining lessons, that it doesn‘t feel like „work“, although it is always a bit of a challenge perfectly suited to the current level I‘m at. Before our journey I wouldn’t have expected to be as confident in speaking as I am right now.

I have had classes with Craig for 1 year. I’m really grateful for his help! I tried a lot of teachers (10 to be precise) before Craig. However, I felt that their approach to exam preparation (IELTS in my case) is not suitable for me. So, there was no progress, I did not feel comfortable with them and I kept looking for that teacher. And eventually, I found Craig. In the first lesson, we assessed my weaknesses and began to prepare. Craig is an absolutely wonderful teacher! As a tutor, he has done everything to improve my speaking and writing. He provided a lot of essential information about the exam and gave me the necessary material. He knows a lot of subtleties and gave a lot of tips: this is very valuable. When we have IELTS writing he carefully checks all my essays. Of course, I have had a lot of practice by myself browsing materials and doing tests, but Craig really helped me a lot to reach my goals: now I have the desired score!
