In this conversational Japanese lesson we spoke about the new Japanese yen notes that are due next month. I'd read an article saying that some machines may initially be unable to accept them, so given my planned trip to Japan later in the year I was interested to hear any more recent news on that ! We also spoke about the types of notes available in my country. Then on a separate topic we discussed the use of VPNs, including their advantages and disadvantages. Another interesting and fun lesson, with a great balance of Japanese language as well as practical tips for my next trip to Japan ! Mika 先生、ありがとうございました

In this Japanese conversational lesson we discussed various topics including Japanese proverbs, the typical layout of Japanese apartments and houses, plus from a current news perspective, the upcoming election in my country. We also spoke about recent articles I've read indicating some restaurants in Japan are charging different prices for locals and foreigners - something I'll watch out for on my next trip ! An interesting, varied, educational and as always fun lesson ! Mika 先生、ありがとうございました

In this conversational Japanese lesson we initially spoke about a recent program which discussed the top 20 onsens in Japan. While I'd heard of most of the onsens, there were a few that were new to me so I'll definitely investigate further ! Next, as I've recently booked another trip to Japan, we spent most of the remainder of the lesson discussing where I'm planning to visit, what I want to see and do, foods I want to try as well as things I plan to buy when in Japan. While its a few months until I travel, I've no doubt we'll return to this topic in the future ! A fun and interesting lesson which not only covered the Japanese language but also various places and sights in Japan. Mika 先生、ありがとうございました。

I had a few local network issues at the start of this conversational lesson, so thanks to Mika 先生 for being understanding while I sorted them out ! That naturally led on to a discussion of technology including the differences between PC and Macs, between iPhones and android, as well as the use of anti-virus software on various platforms. Quite challenging to get the correct Japanese pronunciation for some of the related words ! An interesting lesson where I learned a number of new technology-related Japanese vocabulary ! In this Japanese conversational lesson, we spoke about some of the places I want to visit when I next travel to Japan - one attraction is in Ibaraki prefecture, which is a prefecture I've never been to before. In the lesson we also spoke about the different types of housing in my country and Japan, and finally we had a very interesting discussion about different types of tea. A fun conversational lesson with new Japanese words and grammar ! Mika 先生、ありがとうございました。
