Heather is a great teacher, very organized and helpful, always tailoring the classes to the needs at hand. Would definitely recommend her classes to anyone looking to learn or improve their Swedish. :)

Even though I hadn't taken a lesson in a long time, the teacher welcomed me comfortably. So I was very motivated. The lesson was a short time of 30 minutes, but I had a very meaningful time. Thank you, italki, for letting me meet such a good teacher. Heather is a fantastic teacher. I came to her with almost no Swedish knowledge, and in half a year she helped me achieve my goals of understanding most of the spoken language and start speaking myself. She had a very methodical approach of first giving me all the necessary grammar and resources, and then we spent a lot of time practicing spoken language and hearing comprehension. Most importantly, none of our lessons were boring, it is the rare case when an entire hour would go unnoticed for me while doing a learning activity. Thank you, Heather!
