Hi everyone.
My name is Josh, and I'm a CELTA certified English teacher, with 2 years of classroom experience in Melbourne and Darwin, Australia.
My hobbies are recording podcasts, playing with my two little cats and reading books. I also (try to) run marathons!

My approach to teaching is based on Michael Long's Revised Comprehensible Input Hypothesis -> basically, language learning happens when we try to communicate with each other (both the teacher and student working together). This means that we will both work together to communicate.
This means that our lessons will be based on conversation and tasks. However, if you need something more specific or different, send me a message, and we can work it out.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons will ultimately be tailored to your needs. During our first lesson, will we discuss what your needs are and prepare lessons that will be highly impactful. No two lessons will be the same!
I prepare powerpoints (PPTs), discussion/conversation topics and other materials for each student as needed. Please also note that I will finish each lesson 5 minutes before the end of the lesson, since I need to go to the toilet before the next lesson! I don't want to be late because I am very punctual!My teaching material

He is one of the best teachers I have ever had and I cannot believe that we have already had more than 10 lessons. He is incredibly resilient, deligent, carefully listening to my pronunciation and correcting it. His understanding about the US and British accent is deep and we have followed British accents each lesson. However, I am quite certain that his teaching style is flexible, and he customizes each lesson to help everyone achieve their goals.
