Hey there! I’m Alyse, a native English speaker who has spent my entire life immersed in the vibrant culture of Canada. Currently, I’m in my final year of university, pursuing a Bachelor of English degree, which has deepened my love for language and communication. My dream is to become a professional ESL teacher and explore the world, sharing my passion for English with learners from all walks of life. As an IELTS test coordinator, I’ve gained valuable insights into exam preparation, and I love helping students build confidence for both tests and everyday conversations. My teaching experience spans learners from A1 to C2 levels, with a special focus on Chinese and Slovak students.Me as a Teacher
I started teaching A1-2 English speakers who were migrating to Canada. I loved it and enjoyed each day teaching them. From there, I started teaching online classes one-on-one. I currently work for a company that teaches primarily Slovak students, but I also have experience teaching Chinese students as well.
I also worked as a Test Coordinator for IELTS at my university. I have experience with the test formation and am able to help prepare students who want to challenge the IELTS exams.My lessons & teaching style
All my classes are spoken in English. I can teach all levels of English speakers and match your learning style. I use different texts or worksheets depending on what your needs are. I focus on communication, speaking, reading and writing for both business and casual.My teaching material
