Hi, my name is Naomi!
I am a multilingual creative from Germany, currently living in London(UK).
While living here, I have worked as a translator and a Museum Tour Guide ( in German, French, Spanish, and English).
Additionnally I also gave workshops to teach 3D modeling and Animation.
Now I focus on creating digital art and teaching languages.
In my spare time I am learning Polish and Japanese, so I know what it is like to be a student too.
I really enjoy traveling and speaking with people from all over the world.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I will be encouraging you to speak a lot and make corrections along the way.
I aim to make my lessons engaging and interactive :).
Our learning environment will always be comfortable and inclusive, allowing you to gain confidence in communicating in your target language.
My language teaching experience so far has been in an informal setting:
-Doing a lot of language exchanges (German-Japanese).
-I have helped friends become fluent in a language they were learning at university or moving to Germany (German, French, Spanish) by giving conversation practice helping with their sentence structure and pronunciation.My lessons & teaching style
In our classes, we will identify your language goals and needs.
We will be doing activities and speaking about topics that interest you.
We will use resources ( like online articles and videos) that you can also use outside of the lessons.
All of this can be adapted depending on your specific learning needs.
I also offer conversation practice on its own. During these, we will talk about topics that interest you. I will correct mistakes and syntax as we go along.
I aim to make all the classes I teach interactive and engaging.
Priority number one is that you are comfortable. Language learning works best in a friendly and safe environment.
