I specialize in accent reduction and American English pronunciation for intermediate and advanced learners who want to speak clearly, naturally, and with confidence. I am a native English speaker from California and a CELTA-certified instructor (Cambridge) with over 14 years of experience. My lessons are structured and practical, focusing on sound production and the mechanics of spoken English. We study vowels, consonants, and difficult clusters with R, L, and TH, as well as the IPA. We also focus on prosody—rhythm, stress, intonation, word linking, and reductions—to help you communicate with clarity, confidence, and ease.
Lessons & Teaching Style
My lessons are highly structured and results-oriented, with each session built around materials I provide beforehand. We begin by covering key pronunciation concepts, including a clear introduction to the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and the physical mechanics of sound production—lip, tongue, and jaw positioning—so you understand exactly how to form each sound.
Prosody is at the heart of my approach. While we cover vowels and consonants, the real key to sounding natural is mastering rhythm, stress, intonation, word linking, and reductions that give English its flow.
My teaching style is supportive and focused. I help you analyze your pronunciation, eliminate persistent errors, and build new habits that lead to clear, noticeable improvement in real communication.My teaching material

I've worked with actors, YouTubers, and business executives including some major corporations throughout The United States and Western Europe. Auxiliar TeacherFor the past four academic school years, I've been teaching in a semi-private Catholic school here in Madrid. I teach second, fifth, and sixth grade, working closely with teachers creating lesson plans for teaching grammar, reading, pronunciation, and exam preparation. I also create PowerPoint presentations for the kids, introducing them to various topics of cultural relevance and differences between the U.S. and Spain.
