I specialize in Accent Reduction and American English Pronunciation for intermediate and advanced learners. Originally from California and now based in Madrid, Spain, I bring a global, real-world perspective to my teaching.
I am a CELTA-certified instructor (Cambridge University) with over 14 years of professional experience. Throughout my career, I’ve taught a wide range of courses—including grammar, fluency, writing, and exam preparation—but my true passion is pronunciation.

My lessons are highly structured and results-oriented, with each session built around materials I provide beforehand. We start by familiarizing you with key pronunciation concepts, including a gentle introduction to the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and the physical mechanics of sound production—lip, tongue, and jaw positioning—so you understand exactly how to shape each sound.
Prosody is at the heart of my approach. While we cover vowels and consonants, the real key to sounding like a native speaker is mastering the rhythm, stress, intonation, word linking, and reductions that give English its natural flow.My teaching material

Accent Coach/ English pronunciationFor over 11 years I've worked as an Accent Reduction Coach, teaching English phonetics and pronunciation to people from all over the world. I've worked with actors, YouTubers, and business executives including some major corporations throughout The United States and Western Europe. I continue to work remotely as I mostly teach online these days as I travel the world.

Auxiliar TeacherFor the past four academic school years, I've been teaching in a semi-private Catholic school here in Madrid. I teach second, fifth, and sixth grade, working closely with teachers creating lesson plans for teaching grammar, reading, pronunciation, and exam preparation. I also create PowerPoint presentations for the kids, introducing them to various topics of cultural relevance and differences between the U.S. and Spain.
