I specialize in ACCENT REDUCTION and American English pronunciation for intermediate and advanced-level English learners. I'm from California but I live in Madrid, Spain. I am a CELTA-certified teacher through Cambridge University, with over eleven years of professional English teaching experience. I have taught everything from grammar and exam preparation to conversation fluency and writing, but my specialty is English pronunciation. I've helped students from all over the world reduce their accents significantly and I'm very familiar with the various problems that each language brings.Me as a Teacher
I specialize in American English pronunciation and accent reduction for intermediate and advanced-level English learners. I do my best to cultivate a supportive environment where my students can learn and improve their pronunciation skills and confidence.
If you need to improve your pronunciation in order to be better understood or improve your confidence while speaking, I know that I can help you. I will help you gain a deeper understanding of English phonetics and break some of the bad habits that you've developed over the years.

PRONUNCIATION:
My lessons are very focused and fun. Each lesson is based on an audio file and a PDF that I'll send to you prior to the lesson.
We study mouth and tongue positioning, word stress, intonation, connected speech, reductions, consonant clusters, linking, stop consonants, the Schwa sound, and more. My lessons are very structured and focused so be prepared to work hard.
CONVERSATION: My classes are easygoing, informative, and fun. You'll learn a lot and have a good time doing it.My teaching material

Accent Coach/ English pronunciationFor over 11 years I've worked as an Accent Reduction Coach, teaching English phonetics and pronunciation to people from all over the world. I've worked with actors, YouTubers, and business executives including some major corporations throughout The United States and Western Europe. I continue to work remotely as I mostly teach online these days as I travel the world.

Auxiliar TeacherFor the past four academic school years, I've been teaching in a semi-private Catholic school here in Madrid. I teach second, fifth, and sixth grade, working closely with teachers creating lesson plans for teaching grammar, reading, pronunciation, and exam preparation. I also create PowerPoint presentations for the kids, introducing them to various topics of cultural relevance and differences between the U.S. and Spain.
