Hi, my name is Jordan and I am originally from Ohio in the USA, but have been living in Italy for the past 4 years. I fell in love with the Italian culture and language when I studied abroad in Florence as a university student. I also work as a professional writer and editor and enjoy reading, traveling, teaching and learning languages.Me as a Teacher
I bring warmth and enthusiasm to my lessons and establish a strong rapport with my students. I am naturally intuitive and sensitive, able to meet students' needs at a variety of levels and abilities. My variety of teaching experience allows me to adapt quickly and effectively in new situations as a teacher. I am committed to helping connect others by sharing my talents and native language with them.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are centered around the student, based on their individual needs and then adapted as I get to know the student. I also adhere to the communicative method with an enhanced focused on language use in real-life situations.
As a writer I bring my creativity and passion for the English language to my students, helping them to see the greater context and meaning behind words and usage. I am a creative thinker, always open to new ideas, experiences and people. My careful attention to word choice and grammatical use benefits my students of all levels.
