Hi! My name is Amelia but you can call me Millie! I am a Speech Language Pathologist from Australia and I am passionate about language, literacy, communication, health and wellness. I am a very enthusiastic, approachable and happy person.
I have worked as a Speech Pathologist for 7 years with a strong focus on teaching language, literacy (reading, writing, spelling), speech and social skills to a range of individuals! I currently work within the Education System and LOVE it.
I am also a Personal Trainer and love everything to do with health, travelling, fitness, the outdoors, travelling and living my best life.Me as a Teacher
As a Teacher I am very supportive, flexible and enthusiastic. I am a friendly face to all my students and I encourage every student to try their best in every task and situation even if it is hard or challenging. I am open and honest with my students and I want students to ask me questions when they are unsure or want to learn more! I will never stop a student from asking questions.
I will work hard as your teacher to help you achieve the most in every session so that you can learn everything you need to for everyday life, for school or for your professional career. I expect that you will work hard for me so we can achieve the best possible outcomes together!My lessons & teaching style
My Lessons will be flexible, individualised, interactive and fun. I will plan my lessons with insight from the student so that they fit the students personal goals and visions for learning English. Every lesson will be interactive and will be focused on what the student wants to or needs to achieve.
I will use online platforms, face to face sessions (Skype), online resources and there will be homework activities and tasks for the student to complete.
My Teaching Style is always student focused. I like discussions, check ins, and honesty in every session so that the student and myself are happy.
I will encourage and support my students goals and achievements for greater success.My teaching material

Senior Speech PathologistI work with school and college aged students, teachers and leadership staff. My role places a large focus on teaching language, speech and literacy acquisition through providing the best possible evidence based teachings, support and strategies. I am also involved in teaching / supporting students with English as an Additional Language.
I work with a range of different skills from very basic english, literacy and speech skills to very superior english skills (essays, exams, conversation).

It was a fruitful lesson! Thanks for the real-time feedback. I think it worked well! I liked how you requested self evaluation/correction, a bit like the verbal contingencies from the Lidcombe program! 😂 It really helped me to think about what I said and what should've been said.
