Hello everyone! My name is Raleigh and I am from the state of Florida in the United States. I have been a teacher here on iTalki for several years now and I have loved the experience. I am passionate about languages, teaching, yoga, travel... It is so wonderful to be able to communicate with people all over the world. iTalki allows us to do that - and to learn a language at the same time.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I like to tailor the class to my student. Each student is different. No matter what kind of student you may be, I will do my best to suit the lesson to your needs and keep the experience enjoyable and relaxing. Learning a language should be a fun experience.My lessons & teaching style

Learning English should be an enjoyable experience! If you have anxiety about learning, I can definitely help you. My teaching style is not rushed at all. TEFL - International TEFL Academy - 2019To receive my TEFL certification, I completed an eleven week online course followed by 20 hours of in person teaching. I did my practicum hours at the ESL Center at University of Tampa, and also at the New American Welcome Center in NYC.

Thanks a lot to Raleigh! It was my first time speaking with a native speaker and I was very nervous. But she made me feel comfortable with her and after some time I felt relaxed and wasn’t so afraid to talk as in the beginning. Definitely will continue to study English with her.
