She’s very knowledgeable with good grammar material and explanations and will correct you in a friendly and patient manner. She’s resourceful in preparing interesting topics for the class and you can learn a lot of interesting facts about Brazil while picking up the language. Highly recommended!

Faz mais de um ano que a Amanda ensina inglês para a minha irmã de 15 anos. A minha irmã ama aprender com a Amada, pois ela é muito querida, jovem e divertida. Durante esse ano a minha irmã teve uma grande evolução no inglês. Ela já é capaz de se comunicar em inglês e as aulas já são 100% em inglês. Estamos muito felizes e satisfeitas com o profissionalismo da professora Amanda. Ms. Amanda has been teaching English to my 15-year-old sister for over a year. My sister loves her classes, as she is very sweet, young and fun. During this last year my sister had a great evolution in English. She is already able to communicate in English and classes are already 100% in English. We are very happy and satisfied with the professionalism of Ms. Amanda.

Me gustó que la profesora fuera muy amable y paciente. Sin embargo, me agradaría que sus métodos de enseñanza estuviesen más alineados con las metodologías basadas en la adquisición de segundas lenguas, como enseñanza basada en la exposición a input (aducto) comprensible o TPRS. Por otra parte, la clase fue una buena oportunidad de interacción y de escucha de un modelo nativo de portugués. Ella compartió aspectos de la cultura brasileña.
