It was a great first lesson. We did it over Skype and there was a little bit of static/noise but we did our lesson just fine. I like Sylvia's method of teaching, it was very low-stress, and I felt like I learned a lot. I would highly recommend Sylvia if you're looking for a Chinese teacher.

This is my fifth lesson with Sylvia, and I absolutely love her! 🩷 She’s incredibly kind, funny, friendly, and patient and makes me feel much less anxious during class. She gently corrects my pronunciation and always gives me the time I need to improve.
