A very good lesson with Lina! She encouraged me to speak entirely in Italian and she put up with all my errors while gently correcting them when necessary. She is very patient, funny, and encouraging. I also really appreciated that she typed out all the words and expressions with which I struggled so that I could practice them aloud with her, and also so that I can go back and review them. I would highly recommend her, and I look forward to our next lesson! Grazie mille, Lina! Alla prossima!

I’ve been taking classes with Lina for a long time and appreciate immensely her company and teaching skills. She is incredibly knowledgeable, creative, empathetic, and always positive. After each class, I think about the topics we discussed, go over new words and expressions, and it gives me a true joy and a sense of connection with the language and culture. Can’t wait for the next class.

Lina, thanks very much for another great lesson. She is very attentive to when I make mistakes, by sending me vocab and better ways to say phrases. I felt myself growing in confidence throughout the lesson.

Lina uses materials that inspire additional study about Italy. I have had a very good experience that displays my need for continuous improvement in listening without visual enforcement and speaking unprompted.

Lina is very patient and was able to transition from small talk to the lesson while also giving me a chance to share something with her about my daily activities.
