I am great lover of languages and I graduated in Tourism with the highest grades.
I ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE... even if it is totally different from your mother tongue.
I know it because I'm also studying Hindi and over time I realized that two things really matter:
1) WE SHOULD NEVER BE AFRAID OF MAKING MISTAKES.
Here in Italy there is a saying: "Sbagliando s'impara".
Mistakes are always great opportunities.
2) THE METHOD.
In every study session there must be everything: Grammar (essential to be able to express yourself), then Reading, Conversation, Listening and a lot of Creativity.!My lessons & teaching style
I LOVE TEACHING AS MUCH AS I LOVE LEARNING and I believe that everyone has something to give.
I can't wait to meet you and as you can see I have the first lesson at the symbolic price of 1$ where we will have the opportunity to get to know each other better.
In the first lesson I'll create a Porfolio dedicated to each of you in which I will write down info on your needs, preferences and above all passions, so that the lessons are always personalized for each student.
I thank you so much for being here, for giving you the opportunity to learn a new language which for me means TO OPEN UP TO THE WORLD.

Marlene is such a lovely person. We laugh a lot during the lesson and time flies. We continued with household activities, prepositions and articles. I learned a lot, but never had the impression to "be at school", but rather to sit with a friend in a café. Thank you for this focused but relaxed learning style.

I hadn’t had a lesson with Marlene since June last year due to family commitments, so I was nervous about starting online again, but there was no need as Marlene was so lovely in welcoming me back☺️

I feel so lucky that I picked Marlene for my first italki experience. She explains things well, and I always feel comfortable asking for clarification for anything I’m not clear on.
