Franco L.

Franco is a gem. Since he is a translator by profession, he is able to offer a linguistic perspective when sustaining conversation and explaining concepts. He is also worldly and learned.

I have really enjoyed my Italian lessons with Franco . He is friendly and helpful but he is also very knowledgeable about languages and cultures which makes our conversations interesting and good fun , in fact they go too quickly. I have also studied Spanish and Franco's ability to move from one language to another is amazing and helps make the comparisons and contrasts which are a real help to gain a deeper understanding of the language.

Hi, I had a great first lesson with Franco. The fact that Franco speaks fluently multiple languages is a massive plus, as it allows me to convey what I want to say either in English or French in my instance - whichever is the closest - and makes conversation so much easier. Franco has been engaging and put me at ease despite my huge lack of confidence in speaking Spanish. I have much more grit and confidence that I can reach my goal (with hard work). :) Looking forward to many more lessons with Franco !

Another great lesson with Franco, always interesting and supportive. I feel very comfortable learning with Franco and he is very encouraging. The range of subjects we discuss is wide ranging and Franco is excellent at prompting the conversation, supporting with phrases and words I don't know, discussing technicalities and comparing different romance languages. It is very helpful to have a teacher that's so good in many different languages and understands English so well.
