Hello! My name is Miguel, and I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. I have also had the opportunity to visit and work in other Spanish-speaking countries, such as Mexico and Spain. I consider myself a bit of a geek, as I spend a lot of my time playing video games, watching series and movies, and immersing myself in reading. However, above all, my true passion lies in the Spanish language.
On the professional side, I graduated in International Business and have pursued additional studies in translation and the Spanish language. I am proud to be certified by Instituto Cervantes and Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.Me as a Teacher
I hold certifications in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from both the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and Instituto Cervantes. With over 3 years of experience in online teaching, I have accumulated hundreds of hours guiding students in learning Spanish. It has been a rewarding journey, and I continue to be passionate about helping others develop their language skills.My lessons & teaching style
My specialties are Spanish for beginners and conversational skills. I believe that the key to learn a language is to use it right from the start, even if you don’t have any previous knowledge of Spanish.
I adopt a communicative approach aiming to make your learning journey as enjoyable and easy as possible. I see language as building blocks, enabling students to gradually progress from individual words to complete sentences. I prioritize speaking skills initially and then introduce grammar and new vocabulary in a more natural and intuitive manner.
