About Me

I am a young, passionate and vibrant individual who loves meeting and engaging with people. My passions include music, singing, social impact work and definitely going to the beach. I have studied music instruments, teaching method as well as psychology credits at an undergraduate level at the University of Stellenbosch and can play the euphonium. I also volunteered as a music teacher at a music program for underprivileged children where I taught the trumpet.

Me as a Teacher

I am patient and friendly. My main goal is always to help you, the student, reach your full potential and reach your personal language goals. I love making learning fun and interesting and tailored to you as to avoid lessons being boring and you losing interest. Even though lessons will be fun, I believe in having an aim and objective and I am very focused to achieve the objective we set out for the lessons ahead.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are always student- centered to focus on your needs and growth. I try to create an environment where you are comfortable and where learning English is fun. I do this so you are able to get the best learning experience possible. I believe learning should be engaging and interesting and therefore being prepared for lessons is the key to success. I also incorporate visual queues and activities into our time together.
