My name is Nadette. I am South African and bilingual, with Afrikaans as my native language and English as my second. I love reading, playing instruments, listening to music as well as collecting vintage and antique books and clothing.Me as a Teacher
In 2019, I received my certificate for TEFL, also known as Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and have over 4 years of teaching experience. I am friendly, motivating and patient. I can help with reading, writing, pronunciation, intonation and grammar.My lessons & teaching style
Each lesson will be specifically catered to each students needs and language level. Students are welcome to make suggestions for lessons and I will incorporate said suggestions in future lessons. Learning a new language should be a fun experience that is why suggestions are welcome because everyone learns in a different way.My teaching material

We had plenty of time to debate and listen to rapid Afrikaans speech. The debate was rather progressive and rewarding. The purpose is constructively build a conversational usage of Afrikaans so I build my own Afrikaans units distinguishable context away from my Dutch. I do enjoy Nadette lessons.
