Hi👋 I am a Canadian & Italian citizen, and I have lived in many countries
(Monaco, Hungary, Mexico, China, Italy, Antigua, Spain, etc.).
For the last 24 years, I have worked in finance, as a commodities and bonds trader.
I focus on that activity from Monday to Friday, 8 am until 12 pm NY time.
Then, afterwards, I teach French and Québécois to those who wish to learn
In 2017, I was hired as a French teacher by a university in Spain.
Since then I have given French courses in person and remotely.
Regardless of your level, I will be happy to assist you.Me as a Teacher
I am patient & kind and I can assist with all areas of the French language,
whether you want to discover your French heritage or write well in French
or be able to travel & speak French, ...
I customize the content of the lessons in order to take into account your situation,
current level, goals & timeline
The teaching method I use is focused on speeding up the learning process,
while respecting the pace of each student
I have helped lots of people, regardless of the level or needs or particular focus you prefer.
I also offer six group meetings each week, via Zoom, so that you can practice,
have conversations with other students, build your self-confidence, have fun and improve.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are focused on assisting you achieve your goals, whether you have personal, academic or professional reasons.
I have assisted doctors, engineers, architects, students, retirees, researchers, linguists, unemployed individuals who wish to reorient themselves, government employees, companies and NGO's, etc.
I can provide customized lessons based on your specific needs.

En anglais: Francois is an exceptional, superlative instructor who enjoys generously sharing his love and knowledge of the French language. He is incredibly patient, insightful, motivating, flexible, has a wonderful sense of humor, and intuitively understands and anticipates what the student needs to progress and improve. One of his many excellent methodologies is to empower the student to 'find another word' when a 'bloguer' (block) occurs so that learning, (although challenging) takes place in a comfortable and engaging manner. His group lessons are an extraordinary mix of fun, delightful cognitive exercises, interesting memorization techniques, and tons of sharing and learning French.

I really enjoyed this class. François is really nice and so well prepared. I was amazed by his class materials! And I particularly liked how well he integrated the grammar into contextual situations that make it easy to absorb.
