A really kind and patient teacher. Perfect for my level to practise the vocabulary I learned and force myself out of comfort zone. He’s also good at explaining grammar :)

Wow, I had a really good first lesson! This was my first time speaking continuously in Chinese with someone. I felt like I was able to properly practise the language. Chou spoke slowly for me, so I was able to understand him. He also showed me two comics to practise with, which was really fun!

Gifted teacher who got my reluctant, disinterested 10yo boy to speak Mandarin with enthusiasm. Teacher Chou knows what the kids like. He used memes, funny pictures, and games to spur conversation naturally. My kid is always happy to engage.
