Hi! I’m Martin, nice to meet you! I’m a certified Italian teacher with a PLIDA certificate, and I’ve been teaching for 3 years on Italki, in language schools, and at university. I studied economics at the University of Rome. Though I was born in Bulgaria, I moved to Italy when I was 3 and have lived there most of my life. Italian is my mother tongue I’ve spoken it with my friends and family since childhood. Now, I live in Mexico and love teaching Italian to students from all over the world. I'm a polyglot, fluent in Italian, Spanish, Bulgarian, and English, and currently learning Japanese and French. In my free time, I enjoy reading, swimming, playing the piano.Me as a Teacher

When I first meet a new student, my primary focus is to understand their goals, current level of Italian, and specific needs. Whether you want to practice speaking or focus on grammar, I customize the lessons to suit you. We can even have sessions dedicated solely to conversation, allowing you to hone your speaking skills.
Possiamo anche fare una lezione dove solo parliamo, cosi alleni il tuo parlato. Le mie lezioni sono molto flessibili, il mio obbiettivo sarà sempre quello di insegnarti la lingua Italiana e di farti sentire a tuo agio.

Martin est un professeur qui sait cibler les difficultés et qui arrive à rendre toutes les leçons autant divertissantes qu'instructives. Il est professionnel et à l'écoute de nos besoins spécifiques. Il a un don pour nous motiver si on traverse un embûche. J'ai fait plusieurs leçons avec lui pour apprendre l'italien. Il est poli et vraiment respectueux. Je le recommande à ceux qui veulent apprendre sans stress et de façon continue, autant aux débutants qu'à ceux qui maitrise la langue. Au tout début, je n'arrivais pas à dire une phrase en italien, je ne connaissais que quelques mots. Il m'a accueillie avec une patience incroyable et m'a guidée à un niveau avancé en moins d'un an! Je lui en suis grandement reconnaissante. Je souhaite continuer ces leçons avec lui, des plus enrichissantes qui me poussent à me dépasser. Merci Martin!
