Hello! I'm Jialing, and I'm thrilled to be your Mandarin teacher. Originally from China and currently living in the UK. I am a qualified Mandarin teacher with a Masters' degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages with 5 years of teaching experience.
Besides teaching, I love playing badminton, reading, cooking and travelling. I always enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new culture. I have been to different countries across Europe and Asia, such as France, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Thailand...
I believe that language learning is not just about mastering vocabulary and grammar; it's also about connecting with people and understanding their culture.Me as a Teacher
I have had the incredible opportunity to teach Mandarin for 5 years in international schools
university language centres and immersive Chinese language programs in both China and the UK. I am currently working as a Confucius Institute Mandarin teacher in the UK.My lessons & teaching style

Jialing was very fast to accpet the class and prepared a document to talk over Chinese food we both like.
The conversation flowed really well and we finished a 1 hour talking class in what felt like 20 minutes.
I would recommend Jialing to anyone looking to practice conversational Mandarin. Although she can also teach HSK too if that's what you are interested in.
