After graduating from University with a Bachelor's in Environmental Science, I successfully applied for a position in Local Government, specializing in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I have gained a broader understanding of Information Technology, project management, and recruitment in the workplace.
Working in NSW local government for the past 19 years has equipped me with the language to help you communicate your professional skills and experience when applying for work in Australia. Story telling is a great way to learn. You can start by listening, reading, and then you become the story teller to improve your comprehension and vocabulary.
We will cover the basics of:
Writing - learn how to create short sentences about the things you do each day or your plans for the future
Reading and vocabulary - have fun with stories, common idioms and phrases, tongue twisters and techniques to polish your speech.
We can add a bit of fun and variety with word search, cross words and other games.My teaching material
