Yoshi

Yoshi Sensei is always well organized and dependable. He is very patient with my progress and tailors the lessons to what I need to work on the most. Highly recommended.

Year 2022 will be the 4th year that I have been taking lessons with Yoshi Sensei. And I have had more than 300 lessons with him already. I am not alone, there are many other students who have had hundreds of lessons with him. I started with “Genki” and passed N2 within a year. I do believe that you need institutional type of formal learning and training when it comes to acquire a new language. But to compliment that, I very much like Yoshi Sensei’s serious but relaxed learning atmosphere. Thank you Sensei, for all your guidance all these years. I wish you a healthy, happy and prosperous 2022!

I asked a difficult question in this lesson and although it took up a lot of time, I'm glad with the result. Yoshi was able to help clarify how I should say something in a particular way and highlighted some irregular words. I now feel much more confident about the issue.

I really enjoy Yoshi's lessons as it feels like a natural conversation sprinkled with feedback and advice. I feel like he, as a teacher, is fully engaged in what I'm saying while also trying to help me improve, providing occasional suggestions or words to express myself better. Really great to catch up.
