I love learning about different cultures! I am always curious to know more about other countries and languages. I am a good listener and I can also be very chatty. I will adapt to your needs in any case.
Me as a Teacher
I tutored Korean natives of all ages for four months in Korea (2020). I have been a French teacher on Italki since 2020 and I have taught French to more than 200 students (8-79 years old).
No matter your level, we will focus on your speaking skills from the first lesson.
I can design a lesson plan that suits your needs and goals. I am also a language learner myself, so I can relate to some of your challenges and I would love to share some tips with you.
I use "tu" with all my students, so don't be surprised! ;) Get a cup of tea or coffee and let's chat. Making mistakes is natural and part of the learning process. Let's do it!My lessons & teaching style

2. Conversation and correction class : For anyone who can at least hold a small conversation - A2

Had a great second lesson with Melanie, she was very patient with all my questions and could explain things clearly! I also appreciated that she paid attention to my expressions and could anticipate if I was confused and could pre-empt my next question about why things were a certain way! She also assigns homework, which keeps me accountable! Thanks Melanie!

Had a really lovely time with Melanie. Appreciated that she had a lesson plan to help guide a complete beginner like me. Offered lots of advice on how to correct pronunciation and explained lots of things/mnemonics which I found really helpful! Was also kind enough to go over our allotted time as we had some technical issues (would use Skype instead of Italki classroom next time!)
