Jenny Nguyen

My first lesson with Jenny was one of the best lessons I've had on this platform. She is an excellent teacher because she not only listens very attentively, but she is also good at asking insightful questions that keep the conversation interesting. I felt like I learned a lot.

Classes with Jenny are always a pleasure. She comes prepared with original material and patiently drills and reviews until the words and concepts finally stick in my head. Her understanding of languages is very precise -- which helps that she also is fluent in English and Chinese -- and she can explain the nuances in meanings. Most of all, her lessons are insightful, rewarding, and fun!

I had a great time with Jenny! She suggested me a couple of ways to proceed our lesson that suits me. She gave me many information for me to improve my language skills. It was very nice talking with her!

Italki has a plethora of talented instructors. And Jenny Nguyen is no exception. I have been overwhelmed with the task of learning and improving my Vietnamese vocabulary, and had just about given up hope, until I had an intro session with Jenny. She is very Structured yet flexible. And has a unique and effective way of adding her own take on how the learning process should be approached. In my opinion, she is very versed in language history and how words are formed and related. Which makes the task of relating words and building a vocabulary, a much easier thing to do. That said, she also has strengths in the other areas of learning. And that really gives an English speaker such as myself, a balanced feeling when learning Vietnamese. I look forward to having another session, and seeing just how much more she can assist me with what I've considered, a very daunting task. Thank you Jenny, Italki and its students are happy to have you as an instructor.
